RubyConf India 2012

The Ruby Community in India together with the Innovation & Technology Trust presents RubyConf India 2012 on March 24^th and 25^th in Pune, India. This is a great opportunity for Ruby enthusiasts to brainstorm, network and learn about the latest technology changes first-hand.  

This is the third edition of RubyConf to be hosted in India. This 2-day event will feature international speakers like Chad Fowler author of “The Passionate Programmer” and "My Job went to India", an online video Keynote by Yukihiro 'Matz' Matsumoto, inventor of the Ruby Language.

For the un-initiated, Ruby is an open source dynamic language that offers an ideal development environment for Agile practitioners. It has one of the most active open source communities worldwide which produces and supports tools and projects like “Ruby on Rails” - a powerful web application development framework that works well on different platforms, and significantly reduces time-to-market and operating costs.

A strong supporter of emerging open source technologies that promise to revolutionize the IT landscape, ThoughtWorks Technologies is taking the lead in sponsoring and organizing this community event together with co-sponsors like C42, Josh Software, ActiveSphere and enclarus.
